October was an exciting time for sport, starting with the European men’s team following on from the previous Solheim Cup success of the women to take back the Ryder Cup.
Then, after keeping Rugby fans on the edge of their seats in a nail-biting semi-final against England, South Africa repeated the tension to beat New Zealand by a point in the World Cup.
At the Qatar Grand Prix, Max Verstappen became only the 5th driver to win three consecutive World Championships, joining Juan Manuel Fangio, Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton in this Formula 1 Hall of Fame.
